What is Sender Identification
This is the name or number which flashes on the recipient's mobile phone when they receive an SMS Text message. Most GSM Networks/Operators accept up to an 8-character Alpha-Numeric String or a 12-digit Numeric String as Sender Identification, while CDMA/TDMA Networks/Operators allow only up to 12-digit Numeric String as Sender Identification. Please note sender id activation takes upto 24 hours on receipt of documents.
